30+ Scholarships with August 2024 Deadlines


The following scholarships include opportunities for high school students, undergraduate, graduate school, and adult students.

1st Financial Bank Financial Goals Scholarship. This is a monthly scholarship open to US residents aged 18 and older who are planning to enroll or are currently enrolled in a college degree program. This is an essay-based scholarship that centers around the importance of incorporating financial literacy into one’s college career. The deadline is the last day of every month. Award of $2000. 


Achieve Today Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current college students aged 18 and older who are willing to create a video about overcoming obstacles through the use of personal development principles. Award is $2000. Deadlines are August 31st and December 31st. 


ADHDAdvisor’s Mental Health Advocate Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, and current undergraduate and graduate students committed to helping others with emotional and mental health support. Award is $1000. Deadline is August 1st.


Ai Engstrom Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is open to any student attending a college or university in the US with a minimum GPA of 2.5. There are no age restrictions. This is a bi-annual scholarship. Award of $1000. Deadlines are August 1st and December 1st. 


Boomer Benefits Scholarship. This scholarship is open to adult students who have returned to school to complete their degrees. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or permanent residents age 50 or older. Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program or a graduate program at an accredited public or private school, including community colleges or universities within the U.S. with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. Multiple awards at $2,500. Deadline is August 27th. 


Brigadier General Albin F. Irzyk Veteran Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students in all majors and areas of study. This scholarship is to be awarded to an outstanding veteran scholarship applicant. Must be U.S. Citizens and who are matriculating in a university accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Award is $2,000. Deadline is August 31st. 


Buch Family Academic Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, and undergraduate and graduate students who have competed in the sport of figure skating. The amount of this scholarship is not disclosed. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.4. Deadline is August 31st.


Bumblebee Linens Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current undergraduate and graduate students. Award is $500. Deadline is August 22nd. 


Cappex Easy Money Scholarship. This scholarship is open to US students 13 years of age or older and currently planning to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning (college, university, or trade school) located in the United States within four years of the Sweepstakes. Award is $1,000. Deadline is August 31st. 


Castagra Roofing Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students pursuing a post-secondary education in college or vocational programs in roofing or a similar field. A similar field must be applicable to the building industry (construction, waterproofing, etc.). Passionate about innovation and/or sustainability. Must be a US or Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Will also accept people applying who are not in school, but meet other guidelines. Award is $1,000. Deadline is August 30th. 


Clubs of America Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current college students pursuing any academic major with a GPA minimum of 3.0. Award is $1000. Deadline is August 31st.


Employment BOOST Academic Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and 2-year and 4-year college students in the US with a GPA of 3.6 or higher. This scholarship is open to students pursuing any major. 1 scholarship will be given to a student pursuing any major and a 2nd scholarship will be given to a student pursuing business or STEM fields. Deadlines are accepted year-round on a rolling basis. Awards of $1000. 


Future Educator Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current and incoming college students majoring in education. Award is $1000. This scholarship is offered by Mrs. Prindables Gourmet Caramel Apples. Deadline is August 18th. 


Hometown Pride Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students. The award is $1000 and the deadline is August 31st. 


Innovation in Education Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school and college students who have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others with a GPA minimum of 3.0. The award is $500 and repeats monthly. Open to students in the US and Canada. The deadline is the 20th of every month. 


IVein Health and Wellness Scholarship. This scholarship is open to any current full-time undergraduate or graduate student attending an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.7 is welcome to apply. Award is $2,500. Deadline is December 31st.

 

LawnStarter Lawnpreneur Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, current 2-year, 4-year, and graduate college students who have started or plan to start a lawn care business. All academic majors are welcome. Award is $1000. Deadlines for this scholarship are August 20th and December 31st. 


Leaders Save Lives Scholarship. This scholarship is from the American Red Cross. This scholarship is open to high school and college students including trade schools or community colleges Simply organize a blood drive within these time frames. Awards of up to $2500. Deadlines are: December 15th-January 15th, & June 1st- August 31st. 


Marvel Optics National Scholarship Contest. This scholarship is open to any current, full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year American university or college is welcome to apply. There are no age restrictions. Students must write a 300-word essay or 1-minute video to social media in response to the following prompt: Helen Keller said, “The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.” What does that mean to you? Award is $1,500. Deadlines are  August 15th for the fall semester and January 5th for the spring semester. 


Michael Moody Fitness Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in Athletic Training, Psychology, Biology, Kinesiology, Nursing, General Medicine, Dentistry, Behavioral Sciences, Personal Training, Physical Education Teaching and Coaching, Health and Physical Fitness, Exercise Science, Sports and Recreation Management, Health Sciences, Physical Therapist, or another health-related major. Award of $1500. Deadline is August 1st. 


MyMozaic Scholarship. This $1,000 monthly scholarship is open to US citizens ages 13 and older. The deadline is the last day of every month. This is a scholarship sweepstakes or drawing. 


NextStepU’s Win Free Tuition Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. This scholarship is a sweepstakes. Award is $2500. Deadline is August 31st.


Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship is open to women, at least 17 years of age who are a mother with minor children. Students must be pursuing a first degree at a postsecondary level of education pursuing a degree at a not-for-profit, accredited institution or program in the U.S., and be low-income. Multiple awards up to $5,000. Deadline is August 1st. 


Platt Family Essay Contest. This scholarship is from The Lincoln Forum. It is open to full-time college students attending an American college or university. This scholarship is not open to high school students. Write about Abraham Lincoln. Awards of up to $1000. Deadline is August  31st. 


Race To Inspire Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students who are able to verify enrollment for college at an accredited university inside the U.S.A. during the fall semester of the same year the essay is submitted. Must write a short essay explaining what inspired you to run, what challenges you faced, and what you learned through the experience. Prepare an essay sharing your race story between 1,000 and 2,000 words in length. Award is $500. Deadline is August 15th.


Rodeo Ticket Student Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students who are able to verify enrollment for college at an accredited university in the USA during the fall semester of the same year the essay is submitted. Students must write a short essay. Deadline is August 15th. Award is $500. 


SBB Research Group STEM Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled full-time at a college or university, who are pursuing STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics). Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. Deadline is on a rolling basis (12 awarded per year). Award is $2,500. This scholarship is open to students worldwide and there are no age restrictions. 


Scholarships 4 Moms. This scholarship is open to US citizens ages 18 and older who are mothers or expectant mothers. Applicants must be enrolled or soon to be enrolled in a college or university in the United States. Deadline is August 15th. The award is $10,000. This is a drawing or sweepstakes scholarship. 


The Melissa Linville Criminal Justice Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students currently enrolled, or recent high school graduates who are pursuing post-secondary education with the goal of a career in the criminal justice field. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Must be a full-time or part-time student enrolled in classes for the current year. Must write an essay. Award is $500. Deadline is August 1st. 


The Turco Munoz Domestic Violence Survivor Scholarship. This scholarship is open to enrolled undergraduate, graduate, and law school students who have been advocates for survivors of domestic violence. This is a renewable $1000 scholarship and honors academic performance, employment, volunteer experience, financial need, and plans after graduation. Applicants must have a genuine intention to serve survivors of domestic violence after graduation. Deadline is August 18th. 


Tylenol Future Cares Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current medical, nursing or pharmacy graduate students or students who plan to enroll in graduate-level programs in medical, nursing, or pharmacy fields. Awards of $10,000. Deadline is August 1st. 


Universities Space Research Association (USRA) Distinguished Undergraduate Awards. This scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students who are working towards a science or engineering degree. Applicants must be majoring in a field of science or engineering, including life sciences or science education, with application to fields in space science or aerospace engineering. Multiple Awards were given. The award is $5,000. Deadline is August 7th. ____________________________________________________________________________
