The following scholarships include opportunities for high school students, undergraduate students, graduate school students, vocational students, homeschooled students, and transgender students.


5 Scholars Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school senior students from the Houston, TX and Atlanta, GA areas with an interest in attending a HCBU institution.

Award: not disclosed; Deadline: December 1st


10 Things You Love About You. This scholarship from Unigo is open to students aged 14 and older who are enrolled or will be enrolled in either a college, university or trade school in the next 5 years. Create a top ten list of the reasons you should get a scholarship.

Award: $1500; Deadline: December 31st.


AbbVie Immunology Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students with the following inflammatory diseases: Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS), Crohn’s Disease (CD), Hidradentis Suppurativa (HS), Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), Psoriasis (PS), Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA), Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Ulcerative Colitis (US), Uveitis (UV) seeking an associate’s, undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree from an accredited US college or university.

Awards: up to $15,000; Deadline: December 7th.


Achieve Today Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current college students aged 18 and older who are willing to create a video about overcoming obstacles through the use of personal development principles.

Award: $2000; Deadlines are: August 31st and December 31st.


AfterCollege-AACN Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is open to students pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree in nursing.

Award: $2,500; Deadlines are: March 31st, June 30th, September 30th and December 31st.


Ai Engstrom Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is open to any student attending a college or university in the US with a minimum GPA of 2.5. There are no age restrictions. This is a bi-annual scholarship.

Award: $1000; Deadlines are: August 1st and December 1st.


Americanism Essay Contest. This scholarship is open to students in grades 7-12, including home schooled students. Sponsored by the Fleet Reserve Association, applicants must write an essay about Americanism and patriotism.

Awards: up to $5000; Deadline: December 1st.


American Water Works Association Scholarships and Fellowships. These scholarships are for graduate and doctorate students pursuing advanced training and research in the field of water supply and treatment.

Awards: up to $30,000; Deadline: December 20th.


Apprentice Ecologist Initiative. This scholarship is open to students ages 13 -21 who have completed environmental or conservation projects.

Award: $1750; Deadline: December 31st.


ASD Ascend Autism Scholarships. These scholarships are open to incoming or current undergraduate students who have Autism and are pursuing 2-year or 4-year undergraduate programs.Multiple awards are offered.

Award: $1000; Deadline: December 31st.


ASNT Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship. This scholarship is open to undergraduate students pursuing engineering degrees. Multiple awards are offered.

Award: $3000; Deadline: December 15th.


AvaCare Medical Scholarship. This scholarship is for high school seniors or enrolled current college students with a GPA minimum of 3.0, who are pursuing degrees in the medical field such as therapy, nutrition, laboratory science, dentistry, health law, nursing, medicine or nutrition. All students meeting those criteria are welcome to apply however preference will be given to students with a physical disability.

Award: $1000; Deadline: December 15th.


Barbara Lotze Scholarship. This scholarship is open to undergraduate students who are pursuing a career path of becoming a high school physics teacher.

Awards: up to $2000; Deadline: December 1st.


Because College is Expensive Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school juniors, seniors, current college students and adults looking to head back to school. This is a scholarship sweepstakes. It is offered quarterly.

Award: $500; Deadlines are: March 31st, June 30th, September 30th and December 30th.


Car Covers Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or trade school program. Write about how to make a car last forever.

Award: $1000; Deadline: December 15th.


CC Bank’s Young Scholars Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled in a college or university who have a 3.0 GPA minimum GPA, are US citizens and are under the age of 30. Multiple awards are distributed.

Awards: $2000; Deadline: December 31st.


College Is Power Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students age 17 or older who are planning to attend or currently attending a full or part time college program.

Award: $1000; Deadline: December 31st.


Creative Masonry & Chimney LLC Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students pursuing a career in construction, plumbing, carpentry or other skilled trades.

Award: $500; Deadline: December 1st.


Creative Safety Supply Scholarship. Open to students attending or planning to attend a college, university or trade school during the upcoming term with a GPA of 3.0. This scholarship honors creative thinking.

Award: $1000; Deadlines are: December 15th and July 15th.


CT Chimney Repair Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students who are pursuing careers in construction, plumbing, carpentry or other skilled trades.

Award: $500; Deadline: December 1st.


Dell Scholars Program. This scholarship is open to 11th & 12th grade students who participate in a college readiness program with a GPA minimum of 2.4 and have demonstrated financial need.

Award: $20,000 plus a package of additional support services; Deadline: December 1st.


Dietspotlight.com Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled in a college, university or trade school. This is a non-needs based scholarship. Write an essay about climate change and global warming.

Awards: up to $3000; Deadline: December 31st.


Dulce Deinken Scholarship. This scholarship from The Marie Maxey Foundation is open to Hispanic and Latin American students accepted or currently attending a 2-year or 4-year college in the United States. Write an essay on “The Most Important Hispanic Women In My Life.”

Award: $500; Deadline: December 15th.


East Rock Films Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students ages 13-25. Write about someone from the past who is inspiring to them.

Award: $500; Deadline: December 1st.


Elena Bathrick Scholarship. This scholarship from The Marie Maxey Foundation is open to Hispanic and Latin American students accepted or currently attending a 2-year or 4-year college in the United States.

Award: $500; Deadline: December 31st.


Free Speech Essay Contest. This scholarship from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education is open to 11th & 12th grade high school students including homeschooled students.

Awards: up to $10,000; Deadline: December 31st.


HeadsetPlus.com Scholarship. This scholarship is open to US high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Upload a video to YouTube as part of the application explaining why you should be awarded this scholarship.

Award: $1000; Deadline: December 31st.


Innovation in Education Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school and college students who have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others with a GPA minimum of 3.0. Open to students in the US and Canada.

Award: $500 and repeats monthly; Deadline: the 20th of every month.


Jazz at the Ballroom Scholarship. This scholarship is open to California high school jazz instrumentalists ages 14-18.

Awards: $1000 and an additional $500 award is given to the recipients' respective schools to support the ongoing development of their music programs; Deadline: December 11th.


Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team Education Scholarships. Multiple scholarship categories are awarded within this opportunity. Award categories include: enrolled high school, 2-year college, 4-year college, Nursing, Law School, Medical School, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy students.

Awards: $1000; Deadline: December 1st.


LawnStarter Lawnpreneur Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, current 2-year, 4-year and graduate college students who have started or plan to start a lawn care business. All academic majors are welcome.

Award: $1000; Deadlines are: August 20th and December 31st.


Leaders Save Lives Scholarship. This scholarship is from the American Red Cross. This scholarship is open to high school and college students including trade schools or community college. Simply organize a blood drive within these time frames.

Awards: up to $2500; Deadlines are: December 15th-January 15th, & June 1st- August 31st.


Maeband Scholarship. This scholarship is for mom's or expectant mom's who are enrolled at a 2-year or 4-year undergraduate program.

Award: $500; Deadline: December 1st.


Medical Scrubs Collection Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors or current college students pursuing degrees in the medical field such as therapy, nursing, medicine, nutrition, laboratory science or dentistry. Must have a GPA minimum of 3.0.

Award: $1000; Deadline: December 15th.


MyMozaic Scholarship. This monthly scholarship is open to US citizens ages 13 and older. This is a scholarship sweepstakes or drawing.

Award: $1,000; Deadline: the last day of every month.


National Space Club Foundation. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students pursuing STEM fields with a preference for those with space related interests. Open only to US citizens.

Award: $10,000; Deadline: December 3rd.


Niche Art Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students ages 18 or older who are considering or are currently enrolled in art-related programs. Programs include: design, film, photography, fine arts, performing arts, music, visual arts, computer animation, graphic design, recording arts, web design, game development and entertainment writing. Recipients will be chosen by a drawing.

Award: $500; Deadline: December 31st


North American Van Lines Logistics Scholarship. This scholarship is open to enrolled students or those who will be enrolling into undergraduate programs of logistics or an equivalent field.

Award: $1000; Deadline: December 15th.


One Source Process Inc. Scholarship. This scholarship is opening to students pursuing a degree in the legal field.

Award: $1000; Deadline: December 15th


OppU Achievers Scholarship. This is a scholarship open to high school seniors, college, graduate, professional or trade school students who are US citizens with a GPA of at least 3.0. College students must be attending at least part time to be eligible. This scholarship is awarded quarterly.

Award: $2500; Deadlines are: September 30th, December 31st, March 31st and June 30th.


Parkinson’s Summer Research Fellowships. These scholarships are open to undergraduate and medical students who have an interest in researching Parkinson’s Disease.

Award: $4000; Deadline: December 1st.


Pioneers of Flight Scholarship. This scholarship is open to sophomores and juniors in an undergraduate aviation program.

Awards: $1000; Deadline: December 24th.


PixelPlex Bi-Annual Scholarship. This scholarship is a non-needs based scholarship. It is open to enrolled or accepted students with plans to attend college, who are pursuing STEM fields, or business or economics.

Award: $2000; Deadlines are: August 1st and December 5th.


Rustica Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students who share the goal of building America using environmentally friendly practices. This company makes barn doors. To apply, answer the question, “What byproduct could be created from sawdust?”.

Award: $2500; Deadlines are: December 1st and July 1st.


Sarasota Dentistry Dental Scholarship Essay Contest. This scholarship is open to students admitted to and attending an undergraduate or graduate pre-dental or dental program.

Award: $1500; Deadline: December 15th.


Scarlett Family Foundation Scholarships. These scholarships are open to Tennessee high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores or juniors with financial need. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and are pursuing business or STEM degrees.

Awards: up to $15,000. Deadline: December 15th.


Science Ambassador Scholarship. This scholarship is for female high school seniors and undergraduate students who are pursuing STEM careers. Funded by Cards Against Humanity, this is a full tuition scholarship. Create a video that is 3 minutes in length or less about any STEM topic and upload to YouTube. The purpose of the application is to teach others something in a short amount of time.

Award: Full tuition scholarship; Deadline: December 13th.


Spotlight Cleaning Chicago Scholarship Program. This scholarship is open to high school, college, university and trade school students. Create a 2-4 minute video explaining why you think education is the key to a brighter future, and how you can shape society. You will then upload that video to YouTube.

Award: $1000; Deadline: December 30th.


Transgender First Scholarship. This scholarship is open to US citizens who identify as transgender and are planning to pursue or are currently pursuing a degree at a college or university.

Award: $2,500; Deadline: December 31st.


The Explorers Club Student Grants. This scholarship is for high school, undergraduate, graduate and immediate post-doc students, who are interested in scientific exploration.

Award: up to $5000; Deadline: December 4th.


Wyland National Art Challenge. This scholarship is open to students in grades K-12. This scholarship has multiple awards.

Awards: up to $500; Deadline: December 1st.


Zippia’s Nurse Dream Job Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students ages 18 or older in high school or college who aspire to become a nurse as a profession.

Award: $1000; Deadline: December 31st.
