45+ Scholarships with April 2022 Deadlines



The following scholarships include opportunities for adult students, high school students, undergraduate students, graduate school students, doctorate students, vocational students, homeschooled students, Female students, African American students, and international students.


1000 Dreams Fund Scholarship. This scholarship is open to women graduating from US high school, or attending 2-year, 4-year colleges and universities as well as Graduate school regardless of citizenship status. This scholarship is designated to be used for educational expenses outside of tuition, room, board and fees.

Award: $1000. Deadline: April 2nd.


1st Financial Bank Financial Goals Scholarship. This is a monthly scholarship open to US residents age 18 and older who are planning to enroll or currently enrolled in a college degree program. This is a drawing or sweepstakes scholarship.

Award: $2000. Deadline: last day of every month.


Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors with a documented learning disability (LD) and/or ADHD and will enroll in a 2-year community college, vocational or technical training program.

Award: $5,000. Deadline: April 10th.


Amaze Yourself Scholarship. This scholarship from Landau is open to all US citizen students age 17+ pursuing any degree in healthcare or science.

Awards: up to $2500. Deadline: April 29th.


American Fire Sprinkler Association Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors planning on attending college or trade school. This scholarship is not based on financial need. Multiple awards: $2,000. Deadline: April 1st.


American Nuclear Society Scholarships. Open to graduating high school seniors, undergraduate, graduate, community college and trade school students pursuing nuclear engineering. Awards: up to $5000. Deadline: April 1st.


Anthem Scholarship. This scholarship is open to 8th-12th grade students worldwide. There are no citizenship requirements. Home schooled students are also eligible. This is a non-fixed scholarship as the scholarship only requires reading a novel and writing an essay about the novel. Prizes are cash prizes. Applicants can use the award as they wish.

Awards: up to $2000. Deadline: April 28th.


ASID Scholarships. These scholarships are open to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing interior design programs. These opportunities are offered from the American Society of Interior Designers. Multiple scholarships are available.

Awards: up to $5000. Deadline: April 20th.


CARiD Scholarship. This scholarship is open to US Students ages 16-20 who are enrolled in post-secondary education. Submit a photo inspired by any aspect of the automotive industry. Award: $1000. Deadlines are: April 30th and October 31st.


Craig D Butler Scholarship. This scholarship is open to African-American high school seniors from the Philadelphia, PA area. Award: $1000. Deadline: April 15th.


Dairy Shrine / DMI Education & Communication Scholarship. This scholarship is open to undergraduate sophomores and junior students in a four year college to pursue education or communication careers in dairy or food related industries. Major areas can include: Education, Social Media & Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Food Science, Nutrition (Human), and Journalism. Scholarships are based on leadership, experience, academic ability and interests in education or communications. Co-sponsored with Dairy Management Inc. Multiple awards offered. Awards: up to $1500. Deadline: April 15th.


Dairy Shrine / DMI Education & Communication Scholarship. This scholarship is open to undergraduate sophomores and junior students in a four year college to pursue education or communication careers in dairy or food related industries. Major areas can include: Education, Social Media & Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Food Science, Nutrition (Human), and Journalism. Scholarships are based on leadership, experience, academic ability and interests in education or communications. Co-sponsored with Dairy Management Inc. Multiple awards offered. Awards: up to $1500. Deadline: April 15th.


Dairy Shrine / DMI Milk Marketing & Dairy Products Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current junior students at a four year college who are planning a career in the dairy industry who are planning a career related to Dairy Science, Agricultural Economics or Accounting, Dairy Genetics, Dairy Equipment, Dairy Nutrition, Dairy Feed or Pharmaceutical sales, Dairy Consultant, Dairy Extension, Dairy researcher or Professor. Scholarships are based on leadership, activities, academic ability and interest in the dairy industry. Each university can nominate up to two students for this award. Multiple awards offered.

Awards: up to $1500. Deadline: April 15th.


Dairy Shrine Iager Scholarship for Two Year College Students. This scholarship is open to second year college students in a two-year agricultural college majoring in Dairy or Animal Science. Scholarships will be based on academic standing, leadership ability, interest in the dairy industry and future plans. Multiple awards offered.

Awards: up to $1500. Deadline: April 15th.


Dairy Shrine Kildee Graduate School Scholarship. This scholarship is open to the top 25 All-American contestants in the past three National Intercollegiate Dairy Cattle Judging Contests plus the Platinum winners in the past three National Dairy Challenge Contests are eligible to apply for up to two $3,000 scholarships for university post graduate study in a dairy related field. Students may apply for the scholarship in their junior or senior year at a four year college. The awards are based on national contest participation, academic standing, leadership ability, student activities, future plans and interest in the dairy industry.

Awards: Two at $3000 each. Deadline: April 15th.


Dairy Shrine Student Recognition Award for Seniors Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduating university or four-year college seniors who are planning a career related to the dairy industry or production agriculture and who have demonstrated leadership skills, student activity participation, academic ability and interest in the dairy industry. Each university can nominate up to two students for this award. Multiple awards offered.

Awards: up to $2000. Deadline: April 15th.


Daniel Triano Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school senior hockey players who are registered with USA Hockey and are from NJ, PA or DE.

Award: $1000. Deadline: April 15th.


Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is open to high school seniors planning to enroll and current undergraduate, trade, technical school, and graduate students who have been active in movements for social and economic justice.

Renewable awards: $15,000. Deadline: April 1st.


EFWA Graduate Scholarships. These scholarships are open to female graduate students pursuing accounting degrees. Multiple awards: up to $2000. Deadline: April 30th.


EFWA Undergraduate Scholarships. These opportunities are from The Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting. Multiple scholarships offered for female US citizen undergraduate students pursuing accounting degrees.

Awards: up to $2000. Deadline: April 30th.


E-Waste Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school students in grades 9-12, undergraduate students and graduate students. Must be a US citizen or legal resident. Home schooled students are also eligible. There is no age limit. Write about digital responsibility. Award: $1000. Deadline: April 30th.


Employment BOOST Academic Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and 2 year and 4 year college students in the US with a GPA of 3.6 or higher. This scholarship is open to students pursuing any major. 1 scholarship will be given to a student pursuing any major and a 2nd scholarship will be given to a student pursuing business or STEM fields. Awards: $1000. Deadlines: accepted year-round on a rolling basis


Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes. This scholarship is open to US and Canadian students ages 8-18 who are currently working on an inspiring service project or have done so within the past 12 months. Award: $10,000. Deadline: April 15th.


Gloria Barron Wilderness Society Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduate students who seek to make a positive difference in understanding wilderness and how to protect it. Award: $15,000. Deadline: April 23rd.


Gus Archie Scholarship Program. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and current undergraduate students intending to enroll in a petroleum engineering program. This is a merit based scholarship. Awards up to $20,000. Award: Awards will be distributed as $5000 per year renewable for up to 4 years. Deadline: April 15th.


HIreAHelper Skilled Trade Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduate, graduate, technical college or vocational school students. Recipients will be chosen by drawing. Award: $2000. Deadline: April 16th.


ISA with World Strides Scholarships. Multiple opportunities are available with this scholarship program for studying abroad or opting to travel during a gap year. Students can travel and have an immersive experience in Spain, England, South Korea, New Zealand and Australia.

Awards: up to $5000. Deadlines are: November 15th, February 28th and April 30th exist for applications depending on the location of travel.


Innovation in Education Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school and college students who have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others with a GPA minimum of 3.0. Open to students in the US and Canada.

Award: $500 and repeats monthly. Deadline: the 20th of every month.


Joshua L. Anderson Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors from Northern Nevada High Schools, who are baseball or softball players.

Awards: $3500. Deadline: April 8th.


KnowBe4 Scholarship for Black Americans in Cybersecurity. This scholarship is for Black high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students in the United States pursuing a degree in cybersecurity or information assurance. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.2.

Award: $10,000 tuition award plus $3000 housing award. Deadline: April 18th.


Lake Swannanoa Community Impact Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students of any age who are LSHA members and who have had significant positive impact on the Lake Swannanoa community in the last 12 months. Award: $500. Deadline: April 15th.


Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and undergraduate freshmen and sophomores pursuing degrees at a 4-year college in the fields of Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics with a demonstrated financial need and a GPA minimum of 2.5. Applicants must be a US citizen. 200 awards will be awarded. Awards: $10,000 renewable up to $40,000. Deadline: April 1st.


NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. This scholarship is open to former college athletes as well as college athletes in their final year of competition.

Awards: $10,000. Deadlines are: January 14, April 8th or June 3rd depending on the sport.


MES Foundation Scholarships. These scholarships are open to Maine high school seniors with demonstrated financial need. Awards: up to $20,000. Deadline: April 1st.


Mitchell Institute Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors from Maine who have had involvement in their communities and have demonstrated financial need. Awards: up to $10,000. Deadline: April 1st.


MyMozaic Scholarship. This monthly scholarship is open to US citizens ages 13 and older. Deadline is the last day of every month. This is a scholarship sweepstakes or drawing.


Oregon Association of Nurseries. These scholarships are open to Oregon high school and college students enrolled in or planning to pursue horticulture or botany programs. Multiple scholarships are offered. Awards: up to $1500. Deadline: April 1st.


Peters Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors who are pursuing environmental studies, conservation or forestry and will be attending a Christian college in Illinois, Arizona, Colorado, Michigan or Wisconsin.

Awards: up to $20,000. Deadline: April 1st.


Scott and Kim Verplank Foundation. This scholarship is open to high school senior students with a diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes, and are US citizens with a 3.0 GPA.

Awards: up to $10,000. Deadline: April 15th.


Sharon Melton Meyers Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors who are members of SkillsUSA. Awards: $1000. Deadline: April 15th.


ShearComfort Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled in either an engineering program related to the development of vehicles (mechanical engineering, automotive, aerospace, production, electrical, etc) automotive technology or a similar program related to the automotive industry at an accredited college or university in Canada or the United States. Applicants must be either a US or Canadian citizen.

Award: $1500. Deadlines are: April 15th and October 15th.


Species on the Edge 2.0 Social Media Contest. This scholarship is open to New Jersey high school students. Use social media platforms to promote wildlife conservation.

Awards: up to $1000. Deadline: April 2nd.


Student Loan Hero Scholarship. This scholarship is from Student Loan Hero, a Lending Tree company. It is open to students ages 18+ who are enrolled at a college or university in the US. This is a bi-annual scholarship.

Awards: up to $5000. Deadlines are: October 4th and April 18th.


The Fountainhead Scholarship. This scholarship is open to 11th and 12th grade students worldwide. There are no citizenship requirements. Younger students in lower grades may also apply but students in higher grade levels are not eligible. Home schooled students are also eligible. This is a non-fixed scholarship as the scholarship only requires reading a novel and writing an essay about the novel. Prizes are cash prizes. Applicants can use the award as they wish. Awards: up to $5000. Deadline: April 28th.


Think for Yourself Scholarship. This scholarship is open to middle and high school students ages 13 and older. Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident. Write about free speech. This scholarship is offered by Let It Grow Inc.

Awards: up to $8,000. Deadline: April 30th.


V & E Diversity Scholarship. This scholarship is open to Texas high school seniors from Austin, Dallas or Houston who are a member of a racial or ethic group which has been underrepresented in legal professions and also identify as LGBTQ+. Applicants must have an interest in pursuing a career in the legal professions.

Award: $10,000. Deadline: April 1st.


Virginia Heinlein Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is open to female undergraduate students pursuing mathematics, engineering, biological sciences, physical sciences or science fiction as literature. This scholarship is open to women worldwide. Multiple awards offered. Award: $3,000. Deadline: April 1st.


Walker Williams Wilson Scholarship. This scholarship is open to African-American male high school senior students with a GPA minimum of 2.7 with acceptance to an historically Black college or university.

Award: amount is not disclosed. Deadline: April 21st.


We the Students Essay Contest. This scholarship is open to students in grades 8-12 and are ages 14-19. Also open to home schooled students. This is a non-needs based scholarship. This is a non-fixed scholarship, as most students can qualify if they are simply willing to write an essay. Awards: up to $7500. Deadline: April 15th.


WIIT Scholarships. These scholarships are from the Association of Women in International Trade. Applicants must identify as female and be undergraduate junior, senior or graduate students who are studying all aspects of international trade, economic development or women’s economic empowerment. Award: $1500. Deadline: April 1st and November 1st.
