35+ Scholarships with August 2022 Deadlines



The following scholarships include opportunities for high school students, undergraduate students, graduate school students, and adult students.


1st Financial Bank Financial Goals Scholarship. This is a monthly scholarship open to US residents age 18 and older who are planning to enroll or currently enrolled in a college degree program. This is a drawing or sweepstakes scholarship.

Award: $2000. Deadline: last day of every month


Achieve Today Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current college students aged 18 and older who are willing to create a video about overcoming obstacles through the use of personal development principles.

Award: $2000. Deadlines: August 31st and December 31st.


Ai Engstrom Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is open to any student attending a college or university in the US with a minimum GPA of 2.5. There are no age restrictions. This is a bi-annual scholarship.

Award: $1000. Deadlines: August 1st and December 1st.


AKA-EAF Financial Need Graduate Scholarship. This scholarship is open to full time graduate student in an accredited degree-granting institution with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must demonstrate community service and involvement. Must demonstrate financial need.

Award: amount not disclosed. Deadline: August 15th.


AKA-EAF Merit Graduate Scholarship. This scholarship is open to full time graduate student in an accredited degree-granting institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must demonstrate community service and involvement. Must have exceptional academic achievement.

Amber Lott’s Health Heroes Scholarship. This scholarship is open to BIPOC students in Texas who have a 2.5 GPA or higher and are pursuing a career in nursing or respiratory therapy may apply for this scholarship. This scholarship seeks to support minority students who are pursuing careers in the healthcare field. Students must write a short essay on why you want to become a nurse or respiratory therapist and how this scholarship would help you pursue your career.

Award: $2,000. Deadline: August 10th


Baumgartner Law Firm Law Student Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled in a US Law School.

Award: $3000. Deadline: August 31st.


BioMatrix Memorial Scholarship Program. This scholarship is open to high school seniors who have been accepted to a college, university or trade school who are diagnosed with hemophilia or von Willebrand Disease, and in the case of two of the scholarships, immediate family members may also apply. This scholarship program is in partnership with the Hemophilia Federation of America. Multiple scholarships are available.

Award: $1000. Deadline: August 1st.


Boomer Benefits Scholarship. This scholarship is open to adult students who have returned to school to complete their degrees. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident age 50 or older. Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program or a graduate program at an accredited public or private school, including community colleges or universities within the U.S and minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Multiple Awards: $2,500. Deadline: August 18th


Brigadier General Albin F. Irzyk Veteran Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students in all majors and areas of study. This scholarship is to be awarded to an outstanding veteran scholarship applicant. Must be U.S. Citizens and who are matriculating in a university accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Award: $2,000. Deadline: August 31st.


Bryant Gladney Paramedic Education Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students who are attending a program to become a Paramedic. Students must display a strong passion for serving their community and who plan to pursue a life-long career in emergency medicine.

Award: $1,000. Deadline: August 1st.


Buch Family Academic Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students who have competed in the sport of figure skating. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.4.

Award: amount not disclosed. Deadline: August 31st.


Cappex Easy Money Scholarship. scholarship is open to US students 13 years of age or older and currently planning to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning (college, university or trade school) located in the United States within four years of the Sweepstakes.

Award: $1,000. Deadline: August 31st.


Castagra Roofing Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students pursuing a post-secondary education in college or vocational programs in roofing or a similar field. Similar field must be applicable to the building industry (construction, waterproofing, etc.). Passionate about innovation and/or sustainability. Must be a US or Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Will also accept people applying who are not in school, but meet other guidelines.

Award: $1,000. Deadline: August 29th


CIP Scholarship. This scholarship is from College is Power. It is open to any student age 17 and older who is planning on starting college within the next 12 months or current college students.

Award: $1000. Deadline: August 31st.


Clubs of America Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current college students pursuing any academic major with a GPA minimum of 3.0.

Award: $1000. Deadline: August 31st.


Employment BOOST Academic Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and 2 year and 4 year college students in the US with a GPA of 3.6 or higher. This scholarship is open to students pursuing any major. 1 scholarship will be given to a student pursuing any major and a 2nd scholarship will be given to a student pursuing business or STEM fields.

Award: $1000. Deadlines: accepted year-round on a rolling basis.


Future Educator Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current and incoming college students majoring in education. This scholarship is offered from Mrs. Prindables Gourmet Caramel Apples.

Award: $1000. Deadline: August 18th.


Harold and Muriel Berkman Marketing Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students who are undergraduate or graduate students with a degree in marketing. Must be U.S. Citizens and who are matriculating in a university accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Award: $1,000. Deadline: August 31st.


Harold and Muriel Berkman Veteran Scholarship. This scholarship is open students in all majors and areas of study. Given the particular interest in supporting the education of U.S. Veterans, the Foundation seeks to award scholarships to U.S. Veterans and especially seeks students holding a Combat Infantrymen’s Badge, suffered a serious injury due to combat action (such as a missing limb), received a Purple Heart, served or continue to serve with honor and distinction, or were honorably discharged from military service.

Award: $1,000. Deadline: August 31st.


Innovation in Education Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school and college students who have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others with a GPA minimum of 3.0. Open to students in the US and Canada.

Award: $500 and repeats monthly. Deadline: 20th of every month.


IVein Health and Wellness Scholarship. This scholarship is open to any current full time undergraduate or graduate student attending an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.7 is welcome to apply.

Award: $2,500. Deadlines: August 31st and December 31st.

LawnStarter Lawnpreneur Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, current 2-year, 4-year and graduate college students who have started or plan to start a lawn care business. All academic majors are welcome.

Award: $1000. Deadlines: August 20th and December 31st.


Leaders Save Lives Scholarship. This scholarship is from the American Red Cross. This scholarship is open to high school and college students including trade schools or community college. Simply organize a blood drive within these time frames.

Awards: up to $2500. Deadlines: December 15th-January 15th, & June 1st- August 31st.


Lindsay Sale-Tinney Award. This scholarship is in association with the Outdoor Journalist Education Foundation of America or OJEFA. Applicants must be 12-25 years of age and have demonstrated an interest in working toward a career in outdoor communications.

Awards: up to $750. Deadline: May 1st.


Marvel Optics National Scholarship Contest. This scholarship is open to any current, full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year American university or college is welcome to apply. Students must write 300-word essay or 1-minute video response to social media in to the following prompt: Helen Keller said, “The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.” What does that mean to you?

Award: $1,500. Deadlines: August 15th for the fall semester and January 5th for the spring semester.


Michael Moody Fitness Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in Athletic Training, Psychology, Biology, Kinesiology, Nursing, General Medicine, Dentistry, Behavioral Sciences, Personal Training, Physical Education Teaching and Coaching, Health and Physical Fitness, Exercise Science, Sports and Recreation Management, Health Sciences, Physical Therapist, or another health-related major.

Award: $1500. Deadline: August 1st.


MyMozaic Scholarship. This monthly scholarship is open to US citizens ages 13 and older. This is a scholarship sweepstakes or drawing.

Award: $1,000 Deadline: last day of every month.


NextStepU’s Win Free Tuition Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school, undergraduate and graduate students. This scholarship is a sweepstakes.

Award: $2500. Deadline: August 31st.


Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship is open to women, at least 17 years of age who are a mother with minor children. Students must be pursuing a first degree at a postsecondary level of education pursuing a degree at a not-for-profit, accredited institution or program in the U.S., and be low-income.

Multiple Awards: up to $5,000. Deadline: August 1st


Race To Inspire Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students who are able to verify enrollment for college at an accredited university inside the U.S.A. during the fall semester of the same year the essay is submitted. Must write a short essay explaining what inspired you to run, what challenges you faced, and what you learned through the experience. Prepare an essay sharing your race story between 1,000 and 2,000 words in length.

Award: $500. Deadline: August 15th.


SBB Research Group STEM Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled full time at a college or university, who are pursuing STEM fields (science, technology, engineering or mathematics). Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. This scholarship is open to students worldwide and there are no age restrictions.

Award: $2,500. Deadline: rolling basis (12 awarded per year).


Scholarships 4 Moms. This scholarship is open to US citizens ages 18 and older who are mothers or expectant mothers. Applicants must be enrolled or soon to be enrolled in a college or university in the United States. This is a drawing or sweepstakes scholarship.

Award: $10,000. Deadline: August 15th and February 15th.


Secular Student Alliance (SSA) Student Activist Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school and college students in the United States. Students must have engaged in activism in their community.

Award: amount varies. Deadline: July 31st


Spark Your Life Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students 18 years or older and must be accepted or attending an accredited four year college or university. Students must post a video to a social media page along with a 500 word essay that must express the thing, idea, action or person that serves as the “spark” that inspires the applicant’s life.

Award: $3,000. Deadline: August 31st.


The Turco Munoz Domestic Violence Survivor Scholarship. This scholarship is open to enrolled undergraduate, graduate and law school students who have been advocates for survivors of domestic violence. This is a renewable scholarship and honors academic performance, employment, volunteer experience, financial need and plans after graduation. Applicants must have a genuine intention to serve survivors of domestic violence after graduation.

Award: $1,000. Deadline: August 19th.


The Justice Solutions Group ‘Future Mentors’ Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled, or due to be enrolled, as a full-time student at an accredited college or university for the semester they are applying to receive the scholarship. Applicants are not required to have a minimum GPA. Domestic, international, and undocumented students may apply. Must write an essay between 800 and 1500 words on mentorship.

Award: $2,500. Deadline: August 31st
