The following scholarships include opportunities for middle school students, high school students, female students, undergraduate students, graduate school students, Hispanic, and Black or African American students.
1st Financial Bank Financial Goals Scholarship. This is a monthly scholarship open to US residents age 18 and older who are planning to enroll or currently enrolled in a college degree program. This is a drawing or sweepstakes scholarship.
Award: $2000. Deadline: the last day of every month.
ABC Humane Wildlife Women in STEM Scholarship. Open to female undergraduate and graduate students enrolled or continuing education in STEM fields.
Awards: up to $1000. Deadline: July 1st.
Altec Design Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled in any accredited institution for the upcoming Fall semester. All academic majors are welcome to apply.
Award: $750. Deadline: July 15th.
Avnet Law Scholarship. This scholarship is open to accepted or currently enrolled students in an accredited college, university or graduate program who has been active in community service.
Award: $1000. Deadline: July 15th.
Avonte Oquendo Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, current college students or vocational students who are diagnosed with a form of Autism including Asperger Syndrome or has a family member with the diagnosis.
Award: amount is not disclosed. Deadline: July 31st.
Bachus & Schanker, LLC Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and full-time college students attending a 4-year college or university in the United States. Must have a 3.0 GPA. Write an essay about the 7th amendment.
Award: $2000. Deadlines are: July 30th and November 30th.
Baron and Budd Mesothelioma Cancer Victims Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students accepted at a 4-year university. Applicants will need to write about how cancer has impacted their life.
Award: $2500. Deadline: July 8th.
Creative Safety Supply Scholarship. Open to students attending or planning to attend a college, university or trade school during the upcoming term with a GPA of 3.0. This scholarship honors creative thinking.
Award: $1000. Deadlines are: December 15th and July 15th.
Connie Priscilla Fund. This scholarship is open to African-American graduating high school seniors with a 3.0 GPA, who resides in a single parent and/or low income household. Must have demonstrated leadership.
Award: amount is not disclosed. Deadline: July 31st.
Dashanna K. McNeil Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school, associate, bachelor, and graduate students pursuing nursing related fields.
Award: $1865. Deadline: July 1st.
Employment BOOST Academic Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and 2 year and 4 year college students in the US with a GPA of 3.6 or higher. This scholarship is open to students pursuing any major. 1 scholarship will be given to a student pursuing any major and a 2nd scholarship will be given to a student pursuing business or STEM fields. Awards: $1000. Deadlines are: accepted year round on a rolling basis.
Eskew Law Scholarship for Children of Convicted Felons. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, current college students and students attending trade schools. Must be a child of a parent who has a felony conviction. GPA minimum is 3.0.
Award: $1500. Deadline: July 31st.
GeneTex Scholarship Program. This scholarship is available to undergraduate students as well as graduate students worldwide pursuing STEM degrees.
Award: up to $2000. Deadline: July 14th.
Innovation in Education Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school and college students who have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others with a GPA minimum of 3.0. The award is $500 and repeats monthly. Open to students in the US and Canada.
Award: $500. Deadline: 20th of every month.
KB Delta Scholarship. This scholarship is open to any student currently enrolled in any accredited college or university. The opportunity is being offered from KB Delta Compressor Valve Parts.
Award: $1000. Deadline: July 1st.
Kitchener Dentist Scholarship. This scholarship is open to college students pursuing careers in dentistry.
Award: $1000. Deadline: July 1st.
Leaders Save Lives Scholarship. This scholarship is from the American Red Cross. This scholarship is open to high school and college students including trade schools or community college. Simply organize a blood drive within these time frames.
Awards: up to $2500. Deadlines are: December 15th-January 15th, & June 1st- August 31st.
Maeband Scholarship. This scholarship is for mom's or expectant mom's who are enrolled at a 2-year or 4-year undergraduate program.
Award: $500. Deadline: July 1st.
MyMozaic Scholarship. This monthly scholarship is open to US citizens ages 13 and older. This is a scholarship sweepstakes or drawing.
Award: $1,000. Deadline: last day of every month.
Pedro Zamora Young Leaders Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores or juniors up to age 27 who demonstrate an active commitment to mitigating the impact of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Awards: up to $5000. Deadline: July 15th.
Platt Family Essay Contest. This scholarship is from The Lincoln Forum. It is open to full time college students attending an American college or university. This scholarship is not open to high school students. Write about Abraham Lincoln.
Awards: up to $1500. Deadline: July 31st.
Phyliss J. McCarthy Scholarship for Excellence in Writing. Open to high school juniors and seniors.
Award: $1000. Deadline: July 23rd.
Rockefeller State Wildlife Scholarship. This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students attending a state university within Louisiana who are pursuing a degree in forestry, wildlife or marine science.
Awards: up to $12,000. Deadline: July 1st.
Rustica Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students who share the goal of building America using environmentally friendly practices. This company makes barn doors. To apply, answer the question, “What byproduct could be created from sawdust?”
Award: $2500. Deadlines are: December 1st and July 1st.
SBB Research Group STEM Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled full time at a college or university, who are pursuing STEM fields (science, technology, engineering or mathematics). Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. This scholarship is open to students worldwide and there are no age restrictions.
Award: $2,500. Deadline: on a rolling basis (12 awarded per year).
Secular Student Alliance (SSA) Student Activist Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school and college students in the United States. Students must have engaged in activism in their community.
Amount: varies for this award. Deadline: July 31st.
Sharon Stephens Brehm Undergraduate Psychology Scholarships. This scholarship is open to undergraduate students majoring in psychology at an accredited college or university. Must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and demonstrate financial need. Scholarship will cover direct educational costs (e.g. tuition, institutional fees, required textbooks, etc.).
Award: $5,000 and will be given to 7 students. Deadline: July 1st.
Spirit of Giving Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, 2 and 4-year college students, trade school students and students pursuing certificate programs.
Award: $1000. Deadline: July 31st.
Stephen W. Cavanaugh Scholarship. This scholarship is open to full time students studying an insurance related field as a full time college student at a college, university or community college in Louisiana.
Awards: $8000. Deadline: September 1st.
Summer Saver Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school 10th, 11th and 12th grade students.
Award: $500. Deadline: July 1st.
The Mike Molino RV Learning Center's Scholarship Program. This scholarship is open to undergraduate students accepted into a four- year college or University as a rising sophomore, junior or senior. Must have a 2.8 or better GPA. Essay written on students’ education and career goals. Important factor for awarding the scholarship is an applicant’s background of RV industry employment or a desire to work in the RV business after completing college.
Award: $2,500. Deadline: July 5th.
The Nels Andrew Cleven Founder’s Paper Prize Award. This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are members of Phi Alpha Theta. Students must write an essay.
Awards: Multiple of $400 given to graduate and undergraduate students. Deadline: July 1st.
Thomas J. Henry Leadership Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduate, trade school and graduate students. Applicants must be age 18 and older with a GPA minimum of 2.8.
